Trinity exists to glorify God by showing that grace changes everything in Jesus Christ by equipping you to rest in worship, grow in community and rediscover your calling.
We are building Phase 1 of our building to provide us the freedom to worship and serve our community and Tulsa Metro everyday of the week. This facility will equip the next generation of TrinityKids, youth, and adults to flourish by embracing and applying the gospel in contemporary life.
We did not get to this point in our church overnight. Kingdom-minded prayer, corporate fasting, faith-infused planning, open doors sustained by God’s providence and provision enable us to embark upon Phase 1 of an intentionally designed space for the good of our church family, Owasso and Tulsa. Here’s a brief history and timeline:
2011 + | Prayer (2011 + )
Trinity leadership began praying for a permanent home in 2011.
2014 + | Preparation (2014 + )
In 2014, we set up a long-range planning team to study our facility requirements.
2018 + | Purchase of Land (2018 + )
In 2017 we hired McGraw Realty to search for a piece of land. We explored over 20 locations and settled on 14.89 acres at the northwest corner of N Memorial and East 76th Street North. In 2018 we purchased the land and began a capital campaign, ROOTS, to raise $1.2M to pay off the land and prepare for phase one of construction. We paid off the land ($650K) in the first year, and hired architect Bret Pfiefer to design Trinity’s facility.
2020 + | Preview (2020 + )
The initial design phase is complete and we are now seeking to raise $3.6MM to construct the first phase of Trinity Presbyterian Church’s facility. Exceeding our goal more will allow us to complete the multipurpose room in line with our long-term vision.
2021 + | Permanence
Trinity is ready to RISE and bless her city and her people by opening the doors to her home, starting with a multipurpose room, fellowship area, kitchen, and classroom space.
