A LETTER FROM rev. BLAKE ALTMAN

Dear Friends,

I once asked a man why he drove fifty minutes to worship at Trinity and his response humbled me. "I find rest here. People here know they need grace! There are a lot of people who need this church.”

The first decade at Trinity has been exciting. Our Triune God has enabled us to cast a large vision by proclaiming one simple truth: grace changes everything in Jesus Christ. The Lord has blessed us by enabling Trinity to:

  • raise up leaders

  • plant two churches

  • commission sixty vocations

  • restore marriages

  • heal the sick

  • enable spiritual rest

  • deepen community

  • nurture children

  • disciple youth

  • equip the called

  • help start a new presbytery in the PCA

  • network with like-minded organizations

Thus far, Trinity has been able to accomplish her vision without a building. The pandemic has made us uniquely feel the absence of a place to call home, a place where our facilities can more than meet the needs of our mission and the abundant ministry opportunities we have seen.

We’ve established roots. Now is the time for Trinity to RISE.

Imagine what could happen in the next decade with a building: welcoming new folks, discipling children in a nurturing environment, lingering in fellowship, picnics on the lawn, mid-week equipping courses for all ages, weddings, funerals, community group meetings, recovery groups, co-working space, faith and work conferences, worship rehearsal, youth retreats, training church planters, and hundreds of other ways to show that grace changes everything.

RISE is a three-year spiritual and financial journey to raise $3.6 million to equip Trinity for greater ministry by building phase one of our permanent facility. Phase one includes:

  • a multipurpose space for worship

  • four educational classrooms

  • a kitchen and storage space

To reach this ambitious goal, we need 100% participation for everyone who calls Trinity their church home. RISE will allow us to take the next step in the Trinity Vision. Nourished by well-watered roots, Trinity is ready to rise and bless her people and her city, bringing forth the beautiful fruit the Lord has in store for her.

Would you pray about what three-year financial commitment to RISE you will make alongside Lauren and me?

Together we can RISE to bear fruit for decades to come as stewards of all that He has begun to do.

Grace changes everything,

Rev. Blake Altman, Lead Pastor
